Modular (VCMO) Poles
Modular poles are an excellent choice for using the C1000 as they are super light, mobile and practical when you can be near the solar panels while cleaning (ie..ground mounts, roof ballast mount). These are 6' segments that clip into each other unlike telescopic where the whole pole is in one piece. The hose is threaded on the outside of the poles and attached externally with a modular goose neck.
In addition to the C1000 Brush and C800 Splash Guard you will receive these accessories in the Basic Kit VCMO:
- 1 x VCMO Gooseneck with quick connector
- 1 x VCMO Hose (25 meters) with quick connectors
- 1 x VCMO valve
- Sand filter – you can never filter too much
- 2 supporting brushes to protect the panels from a sagging pole
- 1 pole bag
Our Tucker supplier has recommended these poles for use with the Sola-Tecs system:
- FG Pole Extension #10 Section – Fiberglass : Less rigid, but more insulated for safety. Recommended as the pole held the most.
- Tucker® 50 Extension – Carbon fiber : More rigid and durable. Less insulated.

Solar panel cleaning can be a dangerous activity. Always use caution when working around power lines.
